Over the eight years of the club, a great number of rules have changed, expanded or been clarified to accommodate club members. Each one has been due to reasonable requests, and discussion between mods and members.

We are open to changes when it's needed. So if you have a concern, question, comment, or suggestion regarding rules, please send a note the moderator.

ART AND PHOTOS:


[1] ART AND/OR PHOTOS MUST BE YOUR OWN.
►  Only club members may submit their own work to the gallery. DO NOT submit anyone else's work on their behalf, it will be rejected.
■   You may submit a non-member's work to the "Favorites" folder -- this automatically informs the non-member of the club, should they wish to join.
►  No images consisting solely of stock photos. You may use stock photos as a background, overlay, texture, or small portion of artwork. (Stamps and icons are exempt)

[2] CONTENT SHOULD BE CLEARLY ABOUT GOOD OMENS.  
►  There must be at least one (1) canon Good Omens character, or must be something uniquely Good Omens related.
■   Listing character names in the artist notes is recommended, as everyone envisions characters differently so it’s not always obvious they are Good Omens.
■   If the image is something interpretive, describe how it relates to the fandom.

[3] OC’S, SELF-INSERTION, AVATARS, MARY SUES, ETC.

►  Only minimal use, and they cannot be the sole subject in an image.
■   Memes allow more use, but must have a greater representation of Good Omens characters than OC’s.

[4] OTHER FANDOMS & CHARACTER ALTERATIONS.
[a] Crossovers & Fusions.
►  Must include at least one (1) canon character from Good Omens, who is named clearly in artist notes, along with other fandom characters.
■  OC's do not count as a fandom and are not considered a crossover.
[b] “Crack” Art.
►  Extreme non-canon changes that are NOT specifically crossover or fusion -- such as gender-swap, baby versions, anthro/animal features, bizarre costumes, etc. -- are considered “crack".
(Some canon examples: Aziraphale as Madam Tracy; baby Adam; snake Crowley.)
[c] Good Omens "Casting".

■  No photos or photo manips of actors you think look like Good Omens characters.
■  Do not simply copy an actor’s face for artwork. However, you may use more than one actor as generic references for artwork.

[5] VIOLENCE, TRAUMA, DEATH, ANGST, ETC.
_{(NOTE: THE LEVEL OF ACCEPTABILITY FOR THIS RULE WILL ALWAYS REMAIN AT THE DISCRETION OF THE MODERATOR.)}
► No images that are graphic, morbid, or designed to depress or frighten viewers.
■  Comedic representation of death or injuries may be acceptable, but cannot show realistic gore.
■ Exemption: Any scene that is canon in the book (ex.: Agnes burns at the stake, Hastur devours a call center).
■  Fanfic illustrations are MOSTLY exempt, but MUST include links to the story or will be rejected.

[6] OFFENSIVE CONTENT.
►   No slurs against race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, etc. unless it fits with canon. (ex.: Shadwell is known for saying "pansy" and "hoor", yet in a generally inoffensive way.)

[7] NO SHOTA. NO LOLI. NO EXCEPTIONS.
►   Any character portrayed in an ADULT SITUATION must be CLEARLY over age eighteen (18) for this club.

[1] FICTION MUST BE YOUR OWN.
►  Only club members may submit their own work to the gallery. Do not submit anyone else's work on their behalf.

[2] MUST BE GOOD OMENS-CENTRIC. 
► Otherwise content is open to almost anything else.

[3] WARNING, SUMMARIES, DISCLAIMERS, ETC.
► Not a requirement, but it's nice for readers if they’re included in author/artist notes or at the start of the fic.

BEHAVIOR THAT GETS YOU BANNED.

►  Hostility or rudeness toward other club members. You will receive one warning before being banned.
►  Trolling -- in other words, vehement arguments purely for the purpose of antagonizing others.
► Plagiarism -- claiming another person's work as your own. This will also get you reported to dA.


THINGS THAT ARE NOT PLAGIARISM.

► Work inspired by, but not completely duplicating, a living person's work. However, you MUST identify the owner with their name and/or a link to the original material.
► Material widely identified as no longer copyrighted (ex.: fairy tales, Renaissance art, etc.).
