HOW TO JOIN:
Click the "Join Group" icon on the gallery's home page. You will be automatically approved! Welcome!

HOW TO SUBMIT WORK:
- Click on the "SUBMIT NEW ART" folder.
- Click on the "SUBMIT TO THIS FOLDER" button at the top of that page.
- Choose "CONTRIBUTE AN EXISTING DEVIATION" from your gallery items.
- A moderator will then either accept or decline depending on the Gallery Rules. If declined (which is very rare!), we will send you a note detailing why. All accepted work is moved by a moderator into the Gallery folder that best suits it (if you disagree with placement, please note us and we'll happily reconsider).
- RE: Multiple versions of an image. If you have several versions of a work (such as a sketch and a colored copy) choose ONLY ONE to submit. If more than one version is submitted, a mod will decide which piece to keep in the Gallery. This is done to make curation of the Gallery simpler, and is never personal!
- RE: Favourites. The "Faves" gallery is for non-members' work. If you are member, submit your work only to the GO Gallery proper.

WE WILL ACCEPT:
- "Adult" images.
- It is the reponsibility of the artists, and NOT the club, to include adult filters on images.
- Slash art. See our definition of slash here.
WE DO NOT ACCEPT:
- Hostility or rudeness toward other members. You will receive one warning before being banned.
- Trolling -- in other words, vehement arguments purely for the purpose of antagonizing others.
- Plagiarism -- claiming another person's work as your own. This will also get you reported to dA.

GOOD OMENS 30th ANNIVERSARY!
Today is the 30th anniversary of the publication of the Good Omens, the book, and I would love to be celebrating in a more significant way. But my mother is ill with COVID, so I'm having a bit of a difficult time right now coping with the potential implications and not in a very celebratory mood.
Meanwhile, here is a wonderful gift brought to everyone by Neil Gaiman, Michael Sheen and David Tennant, which should brighten our day. It definitely made even me smile right now.
GOOD OMENS LOCKDOWN
Everyone be safe out there, stay home if possible, and definitely wash those hands & wear a mask.
Alteration to Rule #1
Since the beginning, the Gallery has rejected stock photos and screencaps, since our focus was on original artwork. Another reason was having no canon character designs, unless you count the myriad book covers (even now, neither Book nor TV versions will reign supreme, and the Gallery respects both). The biggest reason was too many copypastas of people's favorite pre-TV Series actors with a character's name slapped underneath, which was neither original nor artistic.
But seeing just how many memes have sprouted in the internet's fertile soil in the 15 years since this group was created, and after such great Good Omens memes in the last few m
Alteration to Rule #5

Otherwise known as "The Strictest Rule". But, as I say at the top of the Rules page, I'm willing to reshape just about any rule if there is reasonable dialogue.
In the beginning, I wanted to keep the Gallery more humorous, in keeping with the Book. But things change, hopefully for the better. I've actually changed Rule #5 twice before. The first time was allowing ANYTHING graphically disturbing because, after all, there are scenes in the book itself that would be disturbing if illustrated properly, so canon scenes were accepted. The second time was adding fanfic illustrations, because non-canon work can get very graphic indeed.

Possible submissions glitch
I'm largely back to normal, health-wise, and am mostly caught up with memberships & submissions. Except a couple of times, with a couple of members, their submissions were rejected or possibly failed to submit properly after I hit the "YES" button.
One thing I can promise all members is that if a submission is TRULY being rejected, I always send a note along with that rejection to explain the reason. So if your submission is rejected and you DON'T hear from me at all, then you can happily assume it was the same glitch as before, and just resubmit the item.
In fact, I think the last time I outright rejected anything was about four years ago,
